PDO threads can effectively strengthen the contour of the face, reduce roundness, lift skin in the cheeks, jowls, neck and also produce an excellent brow lift.
THREAD UPLIFT TREATMENT OVERVIEW
An excellent and effective cosmetic technique to lift and tighten sagging skin tissues. Our thread lift helps redefine facial contours and induces collagen production.
The thread will form an integrated support structure for the tissue of the face due to the collagen synthesis.
The lifting effect is at it's peak 6 months later, when new collagen has formed around the threads.
WHAT DOES THE THREAD UPLIFT TREATMENT ENTAIL?
One week prior to your treatment you will need to stop taking vitamins E, C and fish oils. You will be prescribed antibiotics that you will need to start taking one week prior to your treatment.
On the day of the treatment ensure you have an antihistamine of your choice ready.
Upon waking on the day of your treatment take one antibiotic. One hour prior to your treatment you will need to take one antihistamine.
Your skin will be numbed using an anaesthetic cream and small injections [similar to a dental injection]. Dissolvable threads are inserted and anchored into the skin and then lifted in the direction of the desired lift.
There will be some social downtime due to slight dimpling and swelling of the skin. Potential bruising can range from mild to severe with associated tenderness. There can also be some temporary soreness. Generally this settles over the next two to seven days.
Full aftercare instructions will be given to you on the day of your treatment.
